You want books. I want you to have books. Let’s work together as best we can to make that happen. Even so, there are a bunch of legal things we need to discuss.

Just for clarification, I don’t sell books to children online. By using the website to buy books, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. 

By placing an order you are accepting these Terms & Conditions. Please read these terms and conditions before placing an order.

“I” or “we” means PaulaWiseman.com. “You” means the person placing the order. By completing and submitting an order through this website, you are making an offer to purchase books which, if accepted, will mean I promise to get them to you.

I use PayPal to handle the financial stuff, so your secure data is never collected or even visible by this site. All we have is your order and shipping information, and we won’t let anybody else even peek at it.

An order is accepted as soon as payment is confirmed. As long as books are in stock, your order will be shipped by the next business day barring unforeseen circumstances. U.S. orders are shipped by USPS (United States Postal Service) media rate with tracking numbers available upon request. If books arrive in a damaged condition, notify the USPS as soon as possible, then let me know, so I can get a replacement out to you. 

Canceling Orders

If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel it at any time before we ship it. Please email store@paulawiseman.com with a subject line “Order Cancellation.”

After shipment, you can return the unread books for a refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping costs.

If I get your order wrong, I will pay for return shipping.

Product Availability, Pricing, and Payment

Prices and availability are correct at the time of going to press but are subject to change without prior notice. Please contact store@paulawiseman.com if you have any questions about your order. If the books you have ordered are unavailable, you will be notified as soon as possible, and I will ship them as soon as I get new stock.

Returns Policy

If you are not satisfied with your goods then please notify us within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing store@paulawiseman.com. Upon notification, we will refund your purchase price through PayPal. Goods must be returned in their original packaging (or equivalent) and in the same condition in which they were received.

General

We will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem relating to books delivered to you and shall have no liability to pay any compensation other than to refund you the amount paid for the books upon their return. Please note that nothing contained herein limits any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of United States. We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver the goods you have ordered or for any delay, damage or defect to goods delivered caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. If any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
